In this post, I’m making a new beginning. For a long time, after many attempts, I couldn’t muster the courage to either write a blog or create my own website. But I’ve finally gathered that courage and I’m writing my first blog post. I’ve written blog posts before, but never published any of them. Publishing this post will be a step forward for me. I hope I’ll write and publish more from now on. Happy reading.
What Am I Working On?
Right now, I’m working on this site, to be honest. While building it, I tried to make it as modular and simple as possible. I built this site using Astro, daisyUI, and TailwindCSS. Besides that, I’m dealing with school assignments, club activities, and my own projects. I’m also trying to compile a list of places to apply for internships. The site isn’t exactly how I imagined it yet, but I think it’ll get better over time. I decided to publish it, thinking it’s better than doing nothing while searching for perfection.
Side Notes
Just because I haven’t opened a blog before doesn’t mean I’ve never had ideas — I’ve been taking notes of things that come to mind and plan to write about them over time. I don’t plan to write many introspective posts like this one either. I’m planning to write more technical content. I decided to use the photo from my first blog attempt as the cover image. That’s it for now. Stay well.
Update: The site now fully supports both English and Turkish with i18n — that wish came true!
